Pastoral Staff

Senior Pastor Tim Bowman came to Grace Bible Church in December of 2001, following a successful ministry of 12 years serving the Evangelical Free Church of Casper, Wyoming. He graduated from Liberty University, and has Masters and Doctor of Divinity degrees from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield. Tim & his wife Patti, who is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Trinity Christian College, have five children and live in Bensenville. Having lived in Wyoming, Tim loves spending time in the mountains, and enjoys hunting.

Assistant Pastor Jim and his wife Janet, a grade school teacher, are originally from southern California, and have been serving at GBC since 1985. They are both graduates of Biola University, and Jim also has a Masters degree from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary. They have three sons, David, Scott, and Kevin. Jim grew up surfing, and is now an avid recumbent bicyclist.

Youth Pastor Eric Groezinger was active in local church youth for seven years before coming to Grace Bible Church. Sensing God’s call to youth ministry, he enrolled in Wheaton Graduate School majoring in Christian Formation & Ministry. His home town is Freeport, IL. He and his wife Jill now reside in Wheaton with their son, Nathan, and daughter, Brooke. Eric began his ministry at Grace Bible Church on February 1, 2005.
