Children's Church
Children's Church is a program for children ages 4 through third grade. The children worship with their families in the Sunday adult church service and then are dismissed before the sermon to attend this program geared to their level of understanding. Biblical concepts and accounts are presented in engaging formats: stories, games, bible memory work and sometimes crafts.
Last school year we studied many of the major Old Testament Biblical accounts in chronological order from Genesis through the book of Judges. This school year we will begin by talking about prayer in September and October. Our children will see how historical Biblical characters prayed and we'll answer some big questions:
- When can I talk to God?
- Why should I pray?
- What if I don't feel like praying?
- Why is prayer so important?
In November we'll look at missions around the world, and from December through May, the children will learn about the life of Christ.
